My Own Personal Idol Testimony
When I got baptized for real and surrendered my life over 13 years ago to Him my biggest Idol, (as anyone who knew me could back it up), was my Rock and Roll and I said “anything but that Lord” lol ?
Two weeks later all my prayers were hitting the ceiling and I was finally now sick lol ?
Once I said I would surrender it, 3 miracles happened immediately ??
1. I lost my keys and after Amen I heard my son in the back yard yell “Dad I found your keys”
2. I was praying for shoes to go into mountains to pray to him as my sandle strap was falling off and couldn’t make the trip and after my son yelled that my keys were found there was a knock at the back door and a mom of one of my boys friends was there saying she had some new shoes my size if someone needed them ???
3. A person left a nice car on our property which we were told he defaulted on payment on which people said to get towed and I said God would connect us with owners so later that day we went rafting down the channel and at the half way there is a restaurant in which the guys ahead of me in line were talking about the car, he had a set of keys in his pocket even lol and he picked it up that afternoon ???
God is amazing ?
Anyway, we were pleased to hear that there were christian rock bands by our pastor right away when We shared this???
One of the first ones we were introduced to was Toby Mac ? And 5 years ago we were able to see him when he came to Canada ??
Unfortunately some of his tour bands (tours with 6) were stopped at the border and he has not been back to Canada until this year and we have Tickets in Feb at the same place we saw him years ago lol ? ?
We are stoked
Anyway, thought id share his heart as its ours and may get encouragement from his music
He was in DC talk years ago too and they are deep too
He lost his son to fentenol a couple months ago and wrote a song called 21 if you want yo hear that too
